HOT.If there is one word that accurately captures the Vegas weather that is it. So that is why I took it to the pool for this summer inspired outfit. If you cannot already tell my floppy hat obsession has gotten out of hand. There's just something about them that makes me feel like Blair Waldorf in the Hampton's, très chic! The best thing about floppy hats is that it complements most styles, whether you're going for southern chic or a more boho summery vibe it is the perfect cherry on top of most outfits!
For this outfit I decided to pair this fringe printed top with lace shorts. Very Casual and very Vegas summer like! Trust me when it is 117 degrees outside in a desert you want thin, breathable fabric and that is exactly what this outfit is. Since Vegas is pretty casual in the summer you could even walk the Strip or head into town with this outfit. For me, I would wear this to the pool on top of my swimwear, floppy hat in tow of course! Since neutrals are an essential and I did not want a harsh black on this very light toned outfit, I opted for my Michael Kors cognac handbag. While I absolutely adore structured handbags, I opted for a handbag with a slouchier look to complement the boho summer vibe! I decided on minimal accessories since I have pretty sensitive skin and dry 117 degree heat + jewelry= painful experience *insert crying emoji here*. To top off the look I wore Vince Camuto wedges (of course) because who wouldn't automatically opt for these babies?! Just kidding! But seriously these wedges have been my go-to this summer. Wedges are basically the glorified sandal. It makes you look like you're actually trying, especially if you can score a comfortable pair like I did! What's been your go to this summer?
